Kids’ cards – Disney & more

Sharing a few cards today –

Isn’t this baby Eeyore adorable? It’s a Cricut cut.  I thought it would be so cute to have a card that matches a baby’s room theme for a shower or to go with a gift set like this .  The script stamp “Adorable” and the patterned paper is from Stampin Up! (now retired). Cardstock is Bazzill.

This trio of cards were made for birthdays. Winnie the Pooh & Minnie Mouse are from Cricut cartridges.  I plan on putting a number next to Pooh.  The 101 Dalmations are from Jolees.  All papers are from my stash. Believe it or not, the Winnie the Pooh birthday paper is very old from a book of papers by Hot off the Press, but still available.  Minnie’s patterned paper is from DCWV with a “Dream Big” stamp from CTMH.

Finally,  cards featuring Cookie Monster & Spongebob Squarepants (from Cricut cartridges). I used the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder for Cookie Monster.  Spongebob’s papers are from my stash.

Flat Stanley

We helped our friend’s son with his Flat Stanley project. If you don’t know Flat Stanley, let me introduce you. Flat Stanley is a book that is being used in elementary schools in which a boy finds himself flat enough to travel in an envelope and has exciting adventures all over.  One of the common projects associated with this book is sending a version of a flat friend to family & friends in order to learn more about an area. We had Flat Ty & Flat James visit us for a weekend. We took pictures with our new friends around town and at a soccer tournament. We sent the guys back to the class with a letter, the pictures & brochures for attractions in our area. I had so much fun with this project, I had to make a scrapbook page for our Flat friends.

Strawberry Ice Cream Day – sweet cards

Sweet strawberry ice cream cards

I’m using more of my stash again today. These cute Cricut die cuts were my starting point.  The cone with the red bead sprinkles was embossed in the Cuttlebug with the Diamond in the Rough folder. Add some patterned paper, vellum & ribbon to put it all together for these all occasion cards.

Scrapbook Pages – Found!

This week, I wanted to take advantage of a great sale at Shutterfly to make my photo books. I normally use my desktop to create my digital scrapbooking pages, so I uploaded all of the pages to the site. I remembered that I had worked on some pages on my laptop when I was away from home & was so happy to find a few more pages there. My Myrtle Beach vacation book was completed with the pages showing our road trip, the condo we stayed in and a visit to the Sky Wheel.  Sharing this page from the Sky Wheel because I loved the pictures and the colors of the kit used (“In for the Ride” by Jady Day Studios).

I don’t have an affiliate agreement with Shutterfly, I just really like their photo books & their sales. If you’ve never tried Shutterfly before, leave a comment or send me an email & I’ll send you a code for a free photobook.

Just wondering, do you use a laptop or desktop for digital scrapbooking? I like the control of the desktop but the ability to work anywhere with the laptop.
